Which is the best Casino/Resort hotel in Atlantic City?

I know that the Borgata is best, but the location I am looking is the Boardwalk…. do you have any advice or opinions. The good thing is that it is midweek stay so the rates are cheaper. Also if you know were to get good rates, please let me know, thanks !!!
The best tables are in Tropicana, but its a bit of a dump… I'd recommend Caesars for the best bet for everything.

Go to Casears Casino/Resorts. It's on the Boardwalk, has good hotel service and it is connected to mall with fancy stores (Tiffany, Louis Vutton, etc) called the Pier.

I'm a Brit and three years ago stayed with a friend in New York. One weekend we went to Atlantic City and stayed at the Showboat Casino/Hotel, on the boardwalk.
Despite the rather sleazy image of casinos on this side of the ocean, it was an enjoyable two days. The accommodation was first class, the rates aceptable, the food in all restaurants was excellent and plentiful, and, best of all, I won 1000 Dollars on my third attempt at 'slots' – and didn't lose it subsequently, either!

You know her tasts; will she like the over done Trump Taj? a smaller place. PErhaps you should take the bus down there on the weekend for the day, its almost free, and pick the best one for her.

The best Casino Resort, and the best customer service, depending on your playing limit and history is the Borgata.

It is simply the nicest looking casino, with the most BLING, in AC. I really recomend it.
I also like tje Taj Mahal, but that is because they really take care of me there, and I can get a lot of things comped, but that is because I have a long history there.
What I suggest that you do if you are starting off going to a casino, is to target one place, and go there time after time, at least 3-4 visits in a row. Then they will really start taking care of you, and you start getting a lot of things comped. And they ask you to come back, and offer free rooms, and other nice options.
